On March 31, join Brian Topp, Partner at KTG Public Affairs for our first PAAC webinar.

Brian provides strategic counsel and comprehensive government relations strategies and execution plans to companies, associations and not-for-profits through this unprecedented time.   Having served as Chief of Staff to Premier Notley  during the Fort McMurray forest fires, Brian is no stranger to crises, and will talk about how government makes decisions, manages stakeholders, and works together with the private sector through crises, and how you can best support government decision makers as they navigate this global pandemic and economic crisis.

Bio: Brian Topp is a partner at KTG Public Affairs. In government and the political world he served as deputy chief of staff to Saskatchewan Premier Roy Romanow; chief of staff to Alberta Premier Rachel Notley; and national campaign director to federal NDP leader Jack Layton. He was a senior vice president with  Credit Union Central of Canada, and served as executive director at ACTRA Toronto, the film union. He is a graduate of McGill University and was born and raised in Montreal.

Discussion moderated by Connor Hammill.  Connor Hammill serves as the Government Relations and Communications Coordinator for Camping In Ontario. He is a graduate of the Seneca College Government Relations Program and is a founding member of the Government Relations Alumni Association. Connor served as a Forest Fire Ranger for several years for the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry based out of Sudbury, having worked on the front lines of hundreds of fires across Canada.
