This members-only webinar will focus on the provincial budget, current and potential economic development issues and what the outlook means for public affairs professionals.

Attendees will have an opportunity to ask Minister Fedeli questions during the event.

Minister Vic Fedeli, Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade

The Honourable Victor Fedeli is a lifelong entrepreneur, successful business person, and philanthropist, and serves the Ford government as Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade.

Vic has a proven track record in business and politics. His firm Fedeli Corporation was ranked 34th in the Top 50 Best Places to Work in Canada in 1989. Vic was elected to two terms as Mayor of North Bay from 2003 to 2010 and, in that role, focused on fiscal prudence and economic development, restoring hope and solvency to North Bay.

Vic served ten terms on the Board of the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce, served as Director with Global Vision, and has served on many agencies, boards, and commissions, often as Chair.

He is married to local humour writer Patty and is always seen in one of his trademark yellow ties.

Who is Public Affairs Association of Canada?

The Public Affairs Association of Canada (PAAC) is a national, not-for-profit organization founded in 1984. Our principal objective is to help public affairs professionals succeed in their work by providing them with forums for professional development, the exchange of new ideas and networking.

The Public Affairs Association of Canada is the leading forum for representing lobbyists’ concerns to all levels of government in Canada. We actively engage lobbyist regulators in discussion about the rules and regulations governing lobbyist registration and reporting requirements in Canada. In addition, the PAAC hosts conferences, conducts media interviews and submits opinion editorials all in an effort to position lobbying as a key and valuable component of the public policy process.
