featuring remarks by the Registrar of Lobbyists for B.C.

The Public Affairs Association of Canada BC Chapter (PAAC-BC) invites you to attend our 2021 annual meeting on Tuesday, March 9 at 10:30 am. The PAAC-BC executive will provide a summary of our work in 2020 and hold a vote to elect a new chapter executive for the upcoming year.

Amendments to BC’s lobbying law to further enhance transparency in lobbying were enacted almost a year ago in May of 2020. Join BC’s Registrar of Lobbyists Michael McEvoy and Lobbyists Registry staff as they share tips for navigating the Lobbyists Registry as well as information you may not know yet about the Lobbyists Transparency Act (LTA). Following this informative presentation, you will have an opportunity to pose your questions to the Registrar and his staff.

If you are a PAAC-BC member in good standing and would like to participate by serving on the chapter executive, we are accepting nominations for the below positions as well as up to 7 member-at-large positions.

The deadline for submitted nominations is Tuesday, February 23. Nominations will also be accepted at the annual meeting from the floor.
