PAAC BC and PAAC AB Present: Designation Drivers: A discussion of professional accreditation for the Public Affairs profession

PAAC and the Government Relations Institute of Canada (GRIC) have been discussing a potential professional accreditation / designation program for public affairs professionals. This fall, members from both organizations were invited to share their views in a national survey, administered by Innovative Research.

Do you think government relations should have an accreditation or designation program? PAAC BC and PAAC AB invite you to join us for an interactive online lunch-and-learn session to hear more about the potential impact on the industry, and the benefits, challenges and process for establishing a designation program.

This will be a valuable opportunity to influence any potential program considered by PAAC and GRIC. Greg Lyle, President of Innovative Research and John Capobianco, Past President of PAAC, will share insights from the joint member survey, then we will break into discussion groups to gather your perspectives, concerns, and ideas.

As PAAC members and public affairs professionals, help us ensure any proposed program is shaped by your objectives and your needs.
